So went to eat there on 2/21/20 it's was 8pm we ask if they were open the respoded yes the close at 9pm so we sat down my husband order all u can eat soup and salad everything went well until the cooks started cussing in the kitchen with words penche this pendeo that now my little one are repeating the same words then they threw the soup out 20 min before closing so my husband was jip out his soup will not coming back to this location I'll just drive to mendota they treat u way better SMH

Service very good and very friendly. Clean place. Huge menu so you should find something you like. Food is homemade. Had vegetable beef soup and hot open face sandwich with real mashed potatoes. It was DELICIOUS. If you are in the area, you must stop. So good.

Ordered a gyro to go to take to work, came with soup, the soup was fine. I had the sandwich later in the evening. Honestly it tasted pretty good, their sauce was really good, usually I dont eat it. My complaint is the amount of meat that came with it. I may order again to see if that was typical because it was tasty just not truly fillinf.

When traveling I prefer not to get caught in the trap of eating fast food. Cindy's on 39 caught my attention as being an alternative to the commercialized blah eating joints. As soon as I stepped in I was greeted and seated. There was quite a selection on the menu including all day breakfast choices. Service was prompt and the meal was very tasty. I would recommend Cindy's to anyone traveling through Oglesby looking for a good meal in a clean and inviting atmosphere.

Great food...service was FAST for a family restaurant.... Be sure to ask about the Better Bourban Bacon Bourbon.....you wont be didappointed... great waitress!!!!!

Just left and couldn't finish our food: HUGE servings and small prices!! Amazing staff. Even though we were passing through to take our son to college, I would eat here again ANY day. This was our first hot meal after leaving the house at 7 AM and was AMAZING! Thanks for the great service and food.

Shrimp was awesome. Bourbon chicken was excellent and way to much food for the buck. Salad bar was very fresh. Loved it

We have eaten at Cindy's several times and each time the food has been fantastic! The staff is very polite, you feel very welcomed when you're there. Even our first time there I felt like someone who had been there a million times. You get more than enough food and it all tastes homemade. You won't go wrong eating at Cindy's! Plenty of options to choose from. Lasagna special was very good and comes with soup or salad bar, garlic bread and ice cream for dessert for $10.95

Surprisingly good stop. I would recommend if you are travelling through and need a break. Apparently you can order ahead and puck up too. They do not have a gluten free menu..."but they were very accommodating with their menu eliminating items or ingredients as needed. Had a gyro omelet that was amazing. Not a fancy place but clean, down to earth...with good food and helpful staff.

Nice little family restaurant. We stopped on out way through. Waitress rocked and was super friendly. 4 stars only cause the coffee was watery. Get the coffee down and 5 stars.

My first time here. Homemade food ... it was good! Open faced sandwhich with my choice of a pork tenderloin and mashed potatoes on the side and gravy all over ... yum! Sandwich was GIGANTIC!!!

Staff was very nice! The menu and food was decent. The place is super dirty and run down. 2 meals and 2 teas was $29.00 plus a $10.00 tip. Waitress was great!

Great local spot! Went in on a cold day, got a bowl of chicken noodle soup and beef stew over rice. (Lunch special) Food was delicious, low priced and super quick. One of those small town, hole in the wall places everyone loves. Everyone knows everybody by name and makes you feel right at home.

Great breakfast place. Delicious food, fast and friendly service, and not harsh on the wallet. Highly reccomended.

We needed gas, and Cindy's was next to the gas station. The breakfast was huge- could not eat all my hash browns. Did not get hungry till the evening. If we are on I39, will definitely stop there again- no matter the time of day.

Waiters were really nice, food was okay. Soup I got was very watery and salty. Probably won't go here again but if you want an alright diner go for it

Awesome service. Great prices. Quality food portions. Visited this location during COVID-19 and the staff and establishment was following local municipal and state guidelines to ensure the safety of consumers. Appropriate documentation upon entering requesting for patrons to follow safety guidelines and employees wore face masks.

This place has got amazing service, really good tasty non-greasy food, and the prices are pretty excellent. I tried the bourbon chicken which was very good. It was very tasty, very fresh, not greasy. The meal also came with a salad bar and a scoop of ice cream. After a long day of hiking, this definitely hit the spot! Plus it was walking distance from my hotel.

The food and service is excellent. Especially their Buffet; breakfast and lunch. Yummy good.

We have been to Cindy's maybe 10/12 times and always enjoyed the selection and the food. The service has always also been great. But the last time we were there about a week ago it was just not good. We both ordered from the specials and they did not taste good. We also ordered soup, water and coffee and got our meals even before we got our drinks. We sent them back and ask if we could please have our soup before our dinner. Meantime we had to listen to some pretty discusting Country Music way too loud over the PA After we had the soup our waitress returned with our meals. I kind of pushed mine around on my plate and did eat part of it. My wife could not eat hers and the waitress did replace it with another selection, that we took home. We were rewarded with a scoop of ice cream. Now, Cindy's had become our favorite local place for a good quick meal. I think it might just be quite a while before we return.

I live about 20 minutes away and frequently pass by on trips on interstate 39! I loved the restaurant before it changed owners and will probably love the new one too! We stopped in on a Saturday evening and most tables were full and had their food. Our food was served quickly and came out hot! Less than 15 minutes! It tasted pretty good and was priced reasonably. 4 of us ate under $40 without drinks or the tip. I deducted a star because our first waiter, while very friendly and accommodating, did not introduce himself and left without letting us know. We were given a new server but she never introduced herself or explained. I hope our original server got our tip since he was there for most of our time! We will definitely return.

Great food the girls always have a smile on an very sweet. The rubens are great the best.

The food is worth the drive. My favorites are the soup and dinner rolls, gyros are amazing and serving size never disappoints, fat fries and cheese sauce, amazing biscuits and gravy, plus I love the grilled chicken breast. I could go on and on because I’ve never had anything there I didn’t like. Wait staff is always friendly and attentive. I highly recommend making the trip for some good grub.
